2 Team Building Games That Help Employees Work Together

Posted on

In order for your business to be successful, your employees are going to need to be able to work together on the most basic level. From the fundamental ability to work together comes success because your employees will be able to get the tasks done that they need in the best way possible. A great way to help teach your employees to work together is to have them participate in some team building games. This article will discuss 2 team building games that help employees work together.

Grab Bag Skits

One great game to play involves getting groups of your employees together and splitting them into two teams. You will then give each team a bag that is full of random items. It is then going to be up to each team to create a skit incorporating all of the employees and all of the items. While this task is going to fun and simple, it is going to require that your employees combine their ideas and work together to create a skit that actually makes sense and incorporates everything. This will teach your employees to listen to each other's ideas and work together to execute the ideas that everyone deems are the best. You will find the some employees have strengths in one area, while other employees have strength in another. All of which combine to help you be successful in using the props and creating your skit.

Sneak-A-Peek Game

Another great game that can help your employees to work together is a game called Sneak-A-Peek. In this game you are going to split your employees into teams. You will then give them all an equal amount of building blocks. You will allow each team to sneak a peek at a structure that you built out of the same amount of building blocks. They will be allowed to look at the structure for a set amount of time, such as 10 seconds, and then will be required to recreate this structure by memory, using their own building blocks. This will require the teams to piece together what they remember of the original structure and combine these ideas to create the best structure. This involves having your employees work together to create a better structure than any of them would likely be able to on their own. It will help those that are more independent or shy to work as a team member and be involved equally with the other employees.
